The Joule-Thomson Effect in Compressed Liquid Water

This paper reports upon a continuing investigation into the Joule-Thomson effect in H2 O. The values of μ are computed over a wide range of temperature and pressure using two independent formulations for the properties of compressed liquid water. Some hitherto unpublished experimental data are presented.
