One of the basic features of many machine structures is the Warren type beam, and an understanding of its static and dynamic characteristics is important to the designer. It is the subject of this paper, therefore, to compare the static and dynamic torsional and bending characteristics of some Warren type beams with a range of configuration characteristics.
